With a focus on startup culture, the EFP endeavours to provide experience within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, allowing students to develop professional experience in their chosen industry. Through this program, students will further develop key entrepreneurial skills such as creativity, perseverance, and leadership that will put them on the path to success, and fuel their ambition through entrepreneurial career development.
A goal of any internship is career development, and with the Entrepreneurial Future Programme students will develop unique skills specific to startup culture. As well as developing professional networks within industry, time management skills, and proactiveness, students will learn to find new challenges, develop a growth mindset and learn to improve on their weaknesses, all skills key for entrepreneurial success.
An added benefit of any internship is the exposure to fresh perspectives, ideas and approaches that occur during mentoring. Through a Scala internship, interns will have the benefit of being exposed to new ideas and ways of thinking, advice on how to further develop their strengths and overcoming weaknesses, as well as the opportunity to develop new skill sets and build up entrepreneurial knowledge.
